I think the best way to do this is have new posts for new topics and comments to posts about the same topic - that would also make it a bit more 'orderly' (ugh, I feel my English has gone down lots over the summer with reading and writing mostly German... so I'm sticking to English even though I feel it's really rude to simply swit ch when your post was in German. Sorry!)

yeah i feel the same about my english...
i think that's a good idea, although it might be a bit complicated, and it can be hard to know when exactly comments are inserted...

hm, not knowing when and where something has been commented is a problem - and apparently there's no easy solution to it, as it's not possible to display "recent comments" with this kind of blog...
so maybe it would be easier after all to have new posts, so we can see at one glance where something has happened...
